July 21, 2001 MCCI Drive-In Movie/Cruise Photo Gallery

The Valle Drive-In near Newton, IA is one of the last three remaining drive-in movie theatres still operating in Iowa.  The club thought it would be fun to "relive the past" and cruise from Des Moines over to Newton for an evening of socializing and open-air movie watching.  We had a nice variety of cars turn out and everyone had a great time. Below are some videos and photos from this event (these videos and pictures were taken early, so not all attendees are shown - sorry!):

Club president John Leise and Barb Johnson wave from their "thrones".		 Although the drive-in looks pretty empty in the photos here, it was early yet.  By the time the movies started, it was pretty much filled to capacity.  We also had more members show up after we stopped taking pictures!
